Summary: Both NS4+ and IE4+ expose properties that allow a web master to find out information about a surfer`s screen type, such as size, resolution, color depth etc. With this information, pages could be designed to custom fit the particularities of each screen. In this article, we will see just how easy it is to detect a user`s screen type.
