updating perl modules via NFS?  mosburn at 16:31 on Wednesday, December 26, 2007

Greetings all,

I am in the process of setting up several disk-less servers in the lab for testing purposes. On boot the servers NFS mount /usr/lib/ to allow me to add new modules to the Perl install with out having to do it on all of the boxes and regenerate the images. Now I have gotten Perl to recognize that in /usr/lib/perl5/Time/HiRes.pm exists on the disk-less clients, how do I get it to recognize that this module provides Time::HiRes? Just about everything that I can think of to google on this requires CPAN to do, but Internet access is banned in the lab so I would have to do this manually. Does any know how to do this?

Thanks for the help.
