Dear JavaScript professionals,
We have designed a new page that uses 2 different DHTML / JavaScript menus with dropdowns.
Everything works fine until the browser window is resized…..when we resize the window, one of the menus does not hold position. As we said before, there 2 different scripts. Positioning the menus is done with SPAN or DIV. If we remove the top navigation menu, the left side menu (reho.ro/menus/firm_overview.html) will hold in the given position, if you let both menus, the left side menu will not stay in the given position when resizing window. The left side menu should be over the gray section on the left.
So, we guess that the 2 menus overlap code when page is loaded or something, because we where unable to find a solution to position both menus using DIV or SPAN.
What you will need to do is too make the 2 menus work together, or create a new code.
Remember that the left side menu needs to keep the current style, which uses CSS code for the visuals, no images. Only top menu is using images for the rollover effects, and simple html for the dropdowns.
Left side menu also needs to be very easy to modify if we will need to insert more items in the future.
Thanks!
also this files (html. and js files in zip format) u can dowload from here. ddavi.com/test/js/js.zip
thanks once again.
