navigation help  krtyburski at 20:03 on Saturday, November 22, 2003

I'll try to explain this as best i can for what i want to do.

I'm doing a page for a writer and have divided the navigation into bio/portfolio/contact. This is in a frame set, being the top frame. under the portfolio page the writer has a few publications but numerous articles from these publications. my hopes were: once you select the publication, to have a page where there would be one scrolling text box in a table (which i've gotten to work) but numerous selections for articles to view.

Is there a way i can simply be able to swap text from this text box depending on which article they want to view, without reloading another page?

Presently the navigation is in flash, and redirects using frames. i dont' want to use another frame since i dont' like them, but the writer liked it, so its staying.

I'm not that much of a scripter, so if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for your time.
