Please help!! Making a `Money Manager` application!!  sethmtut at 16:14 on Monday, August 20, 2007

Hey, im trying to make a simple money manager in Netbeans whereby the user enters two types of data, 'Income' and 'Expendature', incomes would include part time job, student loans, pocket money, expendature items would be money paid out for rent, food books and entertainment.

I would like the money manager to be able to show the user the total income and total expendature for the current month, showing the amount left in the 'bank', it would also be cool if it could show income and expendature for previous months where it has been enterd.

If anyone could give me any suggestions or have done something like this previously I would be really greatful if you could help out

Im taking on alot of mini java projects at the moment and I just cant keep up!

thanks :)

Try using JTables, then you can make it look like Excel:
