displaying drive contents in thru showModalDialog

Hi
I need to create two pop-ups so that an inexperienced user can drag a folder from the cd (containing the script) to a floppy. I`m using showModalDialog in order to retain focus on the popups, but can`t get them to display the drive contents. I am using "file:///a|/" as the url parameter - which worked fine in a pop-up window but not here. Any ideas what I`ve done wrong? Does showModalDialog accept a file address as a parameter?
