What you are looking for are "DHTML Menus" or Dynamic Menus. Use your favorite search engine to search for DHTML menus. The basics of DHTML menus are relatively easy. Making them work well in a cross-browser environment is a feat of magic! So I do not recommend writing your own -- find some good code and use it. As you are looking, you may come across javascript-based solutions or ASP components. An ASP component is only good if you #1) are hosting on a server that provides ASP processing, and #2) you are allowed to install ASP Components on your web server. All the ASP components do is write the javascript and styles for you -- so in the end it comes down to javascript and CSS. (There are some really great ASP components for menuing out there -- I`m not knocking them!)
